To me, are those who come from an impoverished backgrounds, become rich and successful and take on a hardline approach to poor people. They should know better and have more empathy, but believe because they managed it, so can everyone else. That is not so.

I know what you mean Jules. I hate it when some “self made man” (and it usually is a man) pops up to tell everyone how wonderful he is and he got where he was today through hard work…
I always say “whose?”
Because they didn’t do it all by themselves and if they’ve “made it” they are certainly not doing it all now. They all have people who work for them, who create the wealth and these “entrepreneurs” can now just sit back and enjoy their wealth and status and judge everyone else.
