the americans are a threat to world peace cos they see war as a money making opportunity, a good chance to sell lots of kit and get rebuilding contracts. war has become quite privatised now, with haliburton and that company blackwater, that changed its name to A1 or sumit, they do seem to start more wars than any other country. its good for business !!!

America is the biggest threat to world peace and has been since 1945.
The size of their armed forces is due to the nation’s requirement to mould the world to its economic requirements. Hence the number of regime change wars, US planned military coups and economic blockades: Korea, Vietnam, Cuba, Iran (x 2), USSR/Russia, China, Chile, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Grenada, most of central America and soon Venezuela.

No, there are military alliances and rivalries present today just like there were before WW1 and WW2. Currently we have the American bloc, the European bloc (with the UK wavering between the two of them) the Russian bloc and the Chinese bloc.
Tensions are particularly profound between the USA, and Russia and China. China in particular is challenging the US as the worlds strongest economy, and the strongest military power. In addition, the USA owed billions to the Chinese so there is the potential for economic sanctions to start with.
Its a scary period, particularly with the narcissist, fascist sympathising, misogynist, white supremacist sociopath Trump as President.

Yes. But not ‘become’ – always has been, at least during my lifetime.
